It has been 16 years now that he has been working in the political field in the company of Dombivlikar. I consider myself lucky that destiny has chosen me to do what I love.. PR.. working with people.. especially when interacting with young boys and girls, seeing their different thoughts, unique ideas and very fresh perspective generates energy in us too. This is self-experience. At the same time, following in the footsteps of the elders, one gets the inspiration to work firmly on the ground. The wealth of experience, knowledge and most importantly the love and trust of the people that we get when we are living in the society cannot be expressed in words.

In his journey from an ordinary worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party to a Minister of Maharashtra, Kalyan has been a witness to the various development schemes of the cities of Dombivli, Thane district and now the state of Maharashtra as a whole. During this, one could test one's own ability while working on many subjects like infrastructure, environment, electricity, water, transport, education, culture. On the strong foundation of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ideology and the guidance of elders who believed in the concept of Indianness, a harmonious relationship was formed with all those who had extreme ideological differences. Since this relationship is basically one of trust, now we are eager to take another leap. Let this be a leap of purpose, ability, progress and mutual affection. I give my word that I will do my best to justify the faith you have reposed in me.

Self Relationship with Savarkar: The heroic leadership of Swatantra Veer Savarkar in the Indian freedom struggle is unparalleled and incomparable. Mani Shankar Iyer made a futile attempt to dim this sun who sacrificed his life in the freedom struggle by saying “Na ki khalwe amhi vrat he blindene”. In the Andaman Cellular Jail, he did the most despicable act of deleting a corner of Savarkar's poetry. To show him that thoughts can never be erased by removing the memorial and to keep the flame of Savarkar's thoughts burning in our minds, it was decided and implemented to light Akhand Savarkar Jyot on 28 May 2014 in Dombivli. Savarkar and my bond became stronger. My public representation has started with the name Savarkar. In the year 2005, I was first elected as a corporator in Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation from Savarkar Road Ward. My office started in Savarkar Udyan on Savarkar Road and the intense fire of Savarkar's thoughts has been going on for 24 hours 7 days and nights for the past 4 years. Savarkar's thoughts should be guided by his flame like a beacon in the society.

A memorable sentence by the prolific author Mark Twain has become history. He says “Truth is better than imagination”. It has been exactly true for me. After being born in Pendur village in Sindhudurg district of Lower Konkan and spending my childhood in Bhandup in Mumbai, I came to Dombivli with my parents. Educated, cultured and peace loving people of Dombivli benefited from the company and mostly R.Swt. The Sangh and the BJP became the patriots of Indianness. The ideology of valuing national interests over political self-interest was shattered and country first…then party…self last…. This life-changing ideology of BJP was impressed upon the mind.

In the year 2002, he was appointed as Kalyan sub-district president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Elected as a corporator in 2005, got the post of Chairman of Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation Standing Committee. He got the honor of becoming the first MLA of Dombivli assembly constituency in 2009 while working as a corporator. In 2014, Dombivlikar once again showed confidence by getting the highest number of votes in the Konkan region. In 2016, he took oath as the Minister of State in the Cabinet of Maharashtra and is responsible for 4 departments of the Government of Maharashtra. He is working in the Government of Maharashtra as the Minister of State for Ports, Information and Technology, Medical Education, Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.

When I started working as a BJP worker in the last 18-20 years, I was experiencing the problems of people. In Dombivli, there was an unending vicious cycle of civil problems. I won't say it's over even today. But as only BJP voters, the previous rulers were deliberately ignoring their city. I stopped it.

He fought for the rights of Dombivlikars and was dragged to court. Public agitation was organized against local self-government bodies, state and central government accounts like KDMC, MIDC, MMRDA, Central Railway, Mahavitaran. In the year 2014, the central government under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modiji started the race of progress with the development policy of "Saaf Niyyat Sahi Vikas", the process of progress has picked up speed since the formation of the government of Hon'ble Chief Minister Devendraji Fadnavis.

Faith is virtue: I am of the opinion that a representative of the people should be committed to follow-up and have the energy to work tirelessly. While working positively, negative things like mistakes, delays in fulfilling promises will also happen. But in mathematics too, minus minus plus is the same style of combining negativity and working in a positive way. I believe that continuous positive action cannot be the virtue that people believe. I have done and will continue to do the work, hard work and honesty required to deserve that trust.
